Stand With Us in Prayer
The Tutela vision started from a place of faith and belief in our Heavenly Father.
As a team, we always commit our plans and activities to God, trusting in His protection and provision for all we do. Our staff in Maputo get together regularly to encourage each other and pray about the challenges. We take great inspiration from the life of Jesus Christ, which motivates us to show grace and compassion. Our trust is that God hears our prayers and by His Holy Spirit, He will work to bring blessing to the children who we reach, in ways that are beyond our natural abilities.

Pray for Our Foster Families
Both of the foster families are doing well and are enjoying life together, but there are always challenges to work through.
We now have twelve children in our care - Pray that they will have courage to work hard in their education despite what they have missed. Pray that they become confident in their learning journey. Pray also that God will protect them in all their daily activities as they go to and from school because life in Maputo can be chaotic and unpredictable.
PRAYER FOR MAY 2023 - Thank God for his faithfulness as Zito’s arrival at Isabel and Fabio’s home is a gift to them of joy and growth. Pray that Zito opens his heart to receive the love and care that is offered to him. Please also pray for protection for all the children in our families, there have been some horrible stories circulating around of child kidnappings in Maputo for trafficking purposes. Little ones as well as teenagers have been targeted, often when they are going to or from school.

Pray for Our staff team
The Maputo staff are bonding well and supporting one another, but there are always challenges to the work.
PRAYER FOR MAY 2023 - The biggest need right now is for Tutela’s Director, Jonny, to get his new visa to be able to get back to Mozambique and see the foster families again and catch up with the whole team. It has been over a year since he was last there and the visa process has been badly held up.

Pray for Our Community Care
We firmly believe that by strengthening families in Maputo, their children will have better care and protection.
PRAYER FOR MAY 2023 - Pray for our plans to run a parenting course later this year, pray that the various elements come together to be able to reach many Maputo parents and that the seminars will greatly encourage them.
Pray for the twelve families who receive our practical support. Pray that their children will know safety, health and good nutrition, and that the parents will find new sources of income to imrpove their lives.
